Shakira releases new album, reveals intimate details about her life with fans

Fans enjoyed an intimate session with Shakira, at the iHeartRadio Theater in Burbank, thanks to a party which included the release of her latest album. Not only did the actress open up about her Life but also performed a number of songs, both old and new ones, for her audience.

In speaking after her performance, Shakira said, “Usually someone has to stop me … I’m so involved with every single aspect of my music from the arrangements for the writing and production. I just feel like these are my children, each of these songs. These were the most eventful 2 1/2 years of my life: a baby, a new love, ‘The Voice.’ So many things happened.”

As for the songs she performed, some of them included “Can’t remember to forget you”, “23”, ‘Empire” and “You don’t care about me”. Yet it was her relationship with Barcelona’s football star, Gerard Pique, that elicited cheers from the audience apart from her latest single.

Her best-selling album titled “Laundry Service” has taken the No. 1 spot on the Billboard’s Social 50 chart. As for singles, “Whenever, Wherever”, “Hips don’t lie”, “Beautiful liar”and “Underneath your clothes” have been in the Top 10 on the Hot 100.

As for Top Latin Albums, three of them have stayed on the charts for a long time namely Donde Estan Los Ladrones, Fijacion Oral: Vol. 1 and Sale el Sol.

She also revealed that choosing a career in music was tough but it would be easier for her son, Milan, to make music if he wanted to someday.
