Jeremy Renner shows interest in appearing on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Avengers sequel release in 2015

Jeremy Renner has announced that he will appear on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D when the Hawkeye actor was asked during a Reddit AMA as to whether his character will ever appear on the show.

In clarifying his interest on appearing in the show, Renner said, “I guess, again – those are questions that are tough to really answer, because it’s above my pay grade, haha! It’s not something I sit and think about. But I suppose if it was offered up, there’s an outside chance it could happen… I’m sure the folks at Marvel have ideas, and when they’re strong enough, they’ll bring ’em to me.”

Speaking of Clark Gregg, who plays Agent Coulson in the show, Renner said that he liked his Avengers co-star very much who was killed but brought back to Life in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

As for other casting developments, Adrianne Palicki, who appeared in the fifth episode of Season 5, will play Bobbie/Mockingbird. While the option of playing any other character is out of the question if her role as Mockingbird is successful, she did play the part of Wonder Woman in a pilot in 2011 that didn’t make the cut.

As for the movie sequel titled Avengers: Age of Ultron, a sneak preview of the movie in the form of a trailer will be aired during the sixth episode of the current Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D season.

All actors playing the Avengers will reprise their roles while three new characters will be added to the cast.

The movie will be released in the UK on April 24, 2015 and May 1, 2015 in the United States.
