Brittany Murphy’s Husband Simon Monjack Says Medications Were His

Simon Monjack , the husband of the late actress Brittany Murphy , says that many of the prescription drugs found at Brittany’s home when she died belonged to him. Simon said in an interview with People.com , “She was on an antibiotic and was taking cough medicine.” While he told People that Brittany took a medication called Vicoprofen to deal with severe menstrual cramps, but he also said she took “no [medications] that could have possibly led to her heart attack.” According to People , Simon believes that a heart murmur caused his wife’s death. He refuted reports that Brittany suffered from seizures, saying that she only battled laryngitis and flu-like symptoms when she died
