Brooke Shields is on the mend after suffering a broken hand while preparing for a new stage show. “Brooke broke her hand during rehearsal for the musical Leap of Faith,” her rep tells People.com . “It was a minor break and did not affect the production schedule.” The cast on Brooke’s hand will be removed a few weeks prior to play’s Oct. 3 opening at the Ahmanson Theatre in L.A., her rep adds.

David Carradine ’s widow filed a lawsuit Thursday in Los Angeles against the production company that was handling the late actor’s final film ‘Stretch.’ ET has the details. Anne Carradine is suing production company MK2 S.A., alleging breach of contract and wrongful death. In the papers, Carradine’s widow claims that Carradine was contractually promised “all the best available amenities” and assistance while filming overseas, but that he was left behind for dinner on his third day in Bangkok, the night before he was found dead in his hotel room. The papers allege that the amenities included a personal assistant and transportation to and from meetings and evening events

Police say they are investigating a crash that occurred Friday morning involving one of Miley Cyrus ‘ tour buses. Police say that one person died and one person was injured when the tour bus, which was not carrying Miley, but was transporting members of her production crew, crashed in Virginia Friday morning
