Christina Hendricks Goes for Thrill Ride with Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan

Fasten your seatbelts! “Mad Men”’s Christina Hendricks has buckled up to ride alongside Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan in ‘Drive,’ according to Variety . The film, based off of a James Sallis crime novel, follows a Hollywood stunt driver, played by Gosling. When the sun sets, he works as a getaway driver on the crime-ridden streets of Los Angeles. He becomes a target and gets caught up in a shady situation after agreeing to help the ex-con boyfriend of Mulligan’s character in a mission gone bad. Gosling is resolute in keeping himself and Mulligan safe and driving is his secret weapon. The action thriller puts the pedal to the metal when filming begins on September 25 in LA, reports Variety . Albert Brooks , Bryan Cranston , and Oscar Isaacs have also been cast.

A disgraced black ops agent (Hawke) must keep Akerman out of harms way in the middle of the Nevada desert. The two fight for survival when they come under attack. ‘The Numbers Station’ is set to begin shooting in early 2011, according to Variety .

DioGuardi opened up about her exit from the show last Friday, explaining, “I felt like I won the lottery when I joined ‘American Idol‘ two years ago, but I feel like now is the best time to leave ‘Idol.’”

Ronald Reagan ’s life will get the big-screen biopic treatment with a $30 million production, ‘Reagan,’ set for release late next year. Based on the best-selling biographies written by Paul Kengor , The Crusader and God and Ronald Reagan , the film will open with the 1981 attempted assassination of the 40th U.S. president’s life, then chronicle his boyhood, Hollywood career and years in the Oval Office in flashbacks and flash-forwards, according to The Hollywood Reporter .

ET’s Mark Steines sits down with iconic star Jane Fonda to talk about her new exercise DVDs, obsessions about eating and exercise — and her recent plastic surgery. “I recently had plastic surgery,” reveals Jane. “It was a hard decision to make, and I decided if I’m going to do it, I’m going to tell the truth. I’m writing a book about aging, so I can’t write that book and not say I’ve had plastic surgery. And you know, I just decided it was for me — I don’t want to have bags under my eyes that make me look tired, and so forth and so on.” Jane is still a knockout at 72 years old.
