Hailey Glassman’s Attorney Calls Jon Gosselin’s Apartment Vandalism ‘Publicity Stunt’

Hailey Glassman ’s attorney defends his client in a statement to ET, following the news that Glassman’s ex-boyfriend Jon Gosselin returned home to his Manhattan apartment on Saturday afternoon only to find it “wrecked.” Gosselin’s former attorney, Mark Jay Heller , Esq. , told ET that the reality star “was horrified, disheartened, and saddened to observe the devastation of his furniture, clothing and personal belongings, which were apparently slashed with a butcher knife by a very troubled and sick perpetrator.” Heller also claims that “Jon’s television, CD player, coffee maker, a Nintendo Wii game, dishes, pots and pans were burglarized from his apartment.” Glassman’s attorney Anand Ahuja responds to the incident, telling ET, “To me, it appears to be a huge publicity stunt. It appears that somebody is trying to frame my client, Hailey Glassman, because she didn’t take anything from that apartment that she was not entitled to take with her

Jon Gosselin NYC Apartment ‘Wrecked’

ET has learned that Jon Gosselin came home to his Manhattan apartment Saturday afternoon to find it “wrecked,” according to his attorney, with a note “that had been affixed to Jon’s bedroom dresser by a butcher knife.” The former “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ reality star’s attorney, Mark Jay Heller, Esq. , claims that Jon “was horrified, disheartened, and saddened to observe the devastation of his furniture, clothing and personal belongings, which were apparently slashed with a butcher knife by a very troubled and sick perpetrator.” “He came into city this afternoon to find the [following] destroyed,” Heller tells ET. “In addition to the aforementioned vandalism, Jon’s television, CD player, coffee maker, a Nintendo Wii game, dishes, pots and pans were burglarized from his apartment, and Jon’s shoes, shirts, luggage, bed, curtain, rugs and other furnishings in the apartment were slashed, most likely by the same butcher knife that affixed the note to his dresser
