‘The Bachelor’’s Chris Harrison to Host Miss America Pageant

“The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” host Chris Harrison has been tapped to host the 2011 Miss America Pageant. “Hosting the Miss America Pageant is a job all TV hosts dream of one day holding,” said Harrison. “It was a thrill to make that dream come true when I hosted the 2004 pageant. It’s a true honor to be invited back to host on such a momentous occasion as the 90th anniversary.” The 2011 Miss America Pageant will be broadcast live from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, January 15 on ABC. The 2011 pageant is the 90th anniversary.

Bill and Hillary Clinton are rumored to be throwing two events in Rhinebeck, New York on Friday night in celebration of their daughter Chelsea ’s reported weekend wedding with Marc Mezvinsky , and ET has the details. The Beekman Arms, which bills itself as America’s oldest operating inn, is the rumored site of a pre-wedding party to be attended by many of the Clintons’ wedding guests. A source on the ground nearby the inn tells us a gate has been set up around the building and its front windows have been covered. A rehearsal dinner for a smaller group of guests is also rumored to take place at the scenic Grasmere estate.
