Colton Haynes set to appear as Roy Harper on Arrow, Thea’s Bloodlust Might Be The Reason

Colton Haynes is set to reappear as the vigilante Roy Harper on Arrow right after the winter finale.

In confirming his reappearance on the show, Marc Guggenheim, the Arrow’s executive producer, wrote, “We are beyond thrilled that Colton will be returning to Arrow this season. It was always our intention to have him return following his departure last season, but it was a matter of finding the right storyline to pull it off.”

As we know already, Roy finds himself in a similar situation as Thea given that the mirakuru provoked a violent reaction that led him to kill an innocent policeman. What is possible is that he has learned how to deal with this and will help Thea to deal with his feeling of bloodlust too.

 

His final appearance on the Arrow was on the episode titled ‘Broken Arrow’ where he faked his death so it should be interesting to see how he makes his comeback to Star City this time around.

Begs the question: Will he star in a guest or a recurring role as in previous seasons?

Some people believe that it will be a guest role as the Arrow is getting a bit big but he will stick around Thea is able to control her feelings. Up until now, she’s been able to control it because Malcolm Merlin caused her to commit murders and which is why it has subsided for sometime.

It doesn’t look like he will be visiting Star City for no reason at all but most probably because Oliver contacts him to help Thea.

No matter what, most regular viewers will be more than thrilled to see Roy back in action with Team Arrow for however long he stays on the show.
